No tracking cookies

Visitors get no cookies from this site. The only cookie is a login cookie used by the site owner and door staff in the admin area, which is strictly necessary for that to work. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Visitor statistics

To see which pages and shows people are interested in, the site counts page views itself, without cookies or outside analytics services. For each view it records the page, the website you came from, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), and a rough location (country and city) worked out from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored. Visits on the same day are grouped using a code that changes every day, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next or identified. These statistics are kept for about 13 months.

Buying tickets

When you buy a ticket on this site, payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this site. From the checkout the site receives your name, email address, billing country and the order details, and stores them to issue your ticket, check it in at the door, handle refunds and keep sales records.

Your tickets are emailed to you using an email delivery service (Resend). If you choose "Add to Google Wallet", the ticket details (show, venue, time, your name and the ticket's QR code) are sent to Google to create the pass.

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. Some shows sell tickets through other ticket sellers (such as Eventbrite or Entrio); when you buy there, that seller's privacy policy applies.

Videos and outside content

YouTube videos on the Videos page only load from YouTube when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Until then the preview pictures come from this site. Once you press play, YouTube's privacy policy applies.

Some show posters and merch photos are loaded from the ticket seller's or merch shop's servers, which receive your IP address like any website you visit. Links to Instagram, Facebook, the merch shop, ticket sellers and Buy Me a Coffee take you to those services, and their privacy policies apply there.

Where the data is kept

The site is hosted by DigitalOcean, the database by Neon, payments by Stripe and ticket emails by Resend. Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there, under the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected or deleted (except where it must be kept for legal or tax reasons), or object to its use. Email [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
